This fortnight I caught up with: Ambient Rhythm, Rainbow Carousel, Webcomic Shorts Teenager Bubblegum Soda has a whole heap of problems. He’s been forced to change schools and leave the person he loves behind, and is getting stick from his teacher for being in a bad mood about it. On top of that, some unwanted attention from a new girl has brought out the local bullies too. But just when life seems at its darkest, an enchanting group of people enter his life, not least of these is a mysterious elf called Sundae.

Last fortnight I caught up with: FreakAngels, Willie Hewes, Webcomic Shorts “23 years ago, twelve strange children were born in England at exactly the same moment. 6 years ago, the world ended. This is the story of what happened next” – FreakAngels page one. FreakAngels is a gritty, adult, post-apocalyptic steampunk comic with at least its first few episodes set in London. It tells the tale of some of the survivors of an unknown disaster, and in the story so far it has been revealed that a few of these have gained new abilities.

I’m Vicki (aka. Wikivic), and I’ll be your tour guide through the increasingly wonderful world of UK webcomics! Hopefully I’ll be able to show you the sights and give a little interesting information about them (but thankfully I won’t need to wave a handkerchief on a stick over my head to guide you).
